Paris Hilton is in the 'House'.

Paris Hilton WILL NOT stop making music.

She refuses to sit back and just be a rich, snobby brat.

She insists on damaging your ears.

Now Paris wants to make 'House Music'.

That is definitely the best way to hide the fact that she has absolutely no talent.

Formula: 1. Get superstar DJ's and producers (Afrojack) to make your beats. 2. Drop your daddies cash to get superstar rappers (Snoop Dogg, LMFAO) 3. Use Auto-Tune more than Ke$ha so that no one can tell how unbelievably horrific your voice is.

That's the formula, and it will probably work well enough to release a half-listenable single.

She is currently tied w/ Billy Ray Cyrus for 17 weeks @ #1.  Billy Ray had the album "Some Gave All" with this classic...

Bieber Will Put the 'Fear' In You.

Submitted Mon, 01/23/2012 - 2:42pm by Rob Z

"The Biebs" is looking for a harder edge.

He is in talks to re-make one of my favorite 90's flicks, 'Fear'.

'Fear' made "Marky Mark" Mark Walburg a bad-boy for life.

Bieber is obsessed w/ the 1996 movie and is jumping at the chance to play Walburg's role in the remake.

The re-make will be toned down from an 'R' rating to 'PG-13'.

If you've never seen 'Fear' go out and rent it now, but until then check out the trailer from '96 below.

Rob Z's Personal Favorite Songs Right NOW!

Jay-Z pens a letter to his new-born girl.

Submitted Tue, 01/10/2012 - 12:56pm by Rob Z

Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their first child into the world a couple of days ago, and Jay has already gone into the studio to record a song for her.

Her name is Blue Ivy Carter, and Jay-Z's new song, "Glory B.I.C." is a dedication and celebration to his new beginning.  It's a beautiful song that actually has Blue's first tiny baby sounds sprinkled throughout it and has a memorable line from the proud father, "Baby I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you,"

With this song I feel Rap and Hip-Hop have gone in a new direction.  Never has an artist made a song about his little girl within days of her being born, and never has a rapper made a song so passionate and sweet.

I think we are seeing a revolution of hip-hop in a very good way.

Listen below and decide for yourself.

Women RULE 2011!

Submitted Mon, 12/19/2011 - 4:59pm by Rob Z

2011 Hitmakers brought women to the forefront of music.

MTV released their Top Artists of the year and Katy Perry landed at #1 as the biggest music artist for 2011.

In fact, 6 of the Top 10 artists were solo female performers.

Katy, Rihanna, Adele, Gaga, Beyonce, and Nicki Minaj all made the list and they all were in the top 7.

Here's a breakdown from MTV's list:

10. Justin Bieber

Anything Bieber did this year made news.

Just look at this picture as an example.

When Rock Stars have too much time on their hands...

Submitted Wed, 12/14/2011 - 7:02pm by Rob Z

What happens after you have rocked all that you can rock?

When the fans have faded and the classic albums are done?

You start wearing 2 scarves at a time...wait that's not where I was going with this.

You start a pro-wrestling federation of course!

Billy Corgan, the lead singer of one of the best bands of the 90's, the Smashing Pumpkins, is dipping his hands in the wrestling world.

And if that doesn't satisfy your needs?

Well, hell, start writing music for broadway musicals.  Yep, that ought to do it.

It seems like Billy is struggling with a mid-career crisis.

He doesn't know what to do with himself.

His solo albums have failed to sell.  The Smashing Pumpkins comeback albums are subpar and lack record sales.  So Billy decides to go in an ENTIRELY different direction with his passions.

The Detoxification of Dr. Dre

Submitted Wed, 11/16/2011 - 6:52pm by Rob Z

Dr. Dre announced today that he plans on "taking a break from music".

Dre is one of the hardest working and successful music producers of all time.

Dre released his last solo album "2001" in 1999.  He then promised his 3rd solo album "Detox" around late 2000.

Now we all know that Dre doesn't need the money.  He's easily a multi-millionaire and recently sold 51% of his stock in Beats Electronics for $309 million.

He doesn't need the accolades.  He has made 2 classic albums on his own.

He produced Snoop's classic "Doggystyle".  He produced all of Eminem's albums.  He also brought 50 Cent to the forefront of rap music.

Here's a list of Dre's production credits - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Albums_produced_by_Dr._Dre

He has PROVED that he is a legend.

Bone Thugs n' ... Phil? An ode to odd groups

Submitted Thu, 09/29/2011 - 3:51pm by Rob Z

My world involves a lot of music.  It makes me happy.  It is the center of my working environment.  So I should love it, right?

I should cherish every note and vocal that I hear, because music was put here to make us joyous and happy.

I could write lists upon lists of my favorite songs, albums, artists, collaborations, album covers, concerts...

But then again I could also write about how completely ridiculous it can be.  Let me give you an example.

In 2002 Bone, Thugs & Harmony released the album "Thug World Order" (Clever Title).

The album had a track called, "Home" that had a sample of the Phil Collins classic "Take Me Home" (Insert video from YouTube)

Now that song is a classic in my eyes.  One of Phil Collins best songs.  I am actually singing it right now.
I would assume that he would hold a great song like that near and dear to his heart
