CNN - Maybe Justin Timberlake and friends weren't so crazy after all.

Myspace, the once dominant social-networking site that faded into obscurity during Facebook's rise to dominance, added 1 million new users over the past month, according to the company.

"The numbers tell an amazing story of strong momentum and dramatic change for Myspace," said Tim Vanderhook, CEO of Myspace. "And the 1 million-plus new user accounts we've seen in the last 30 days validates our approach."

Paris Hilton is in the 'House'.

Paris Hilton WILL NOT stop making music.

She refuses to sit back and just be a rich, snobby brat.

She insists on damaging your ears.

Now Paris wants to make 'House Music'.

That is definitely the best way to hide the fact that she has absolutely no talent.

Formula: 1. Get superstar DJ's and producers (Afrojack) to make your beats. 2. Drop your daddies cash to get superstar rappers (Snoop Dogg, LMFAO) 3. Use Auto-Tune more than Ke$ha so that no one can tell how unbelievably horrific your voice is.

That's the formula, and it will probably work well enough to release a half-listenable single.

Bieber Will Put the 'Fear' In You.

Submitted Mon, 01/23/2012 - 2:42pm by Rob Z

"The Biebs" is looking for a harder edge.

He is in talks to re-make one of my favorite 90's flicks, 'Fear'.

'Fear' made "Marky Mark" Mark Walburg a bad-boy for life.

Bieber is obsessed w/ the 1996 movie and is jumping at the chance to play Walburg's role in the remake.

The re-make will be toned down from an 'R' rating to 'PG-13'.

If you've never seen 'Fear' go out and rent it now, but until then check out the trailer from '96 below.

Submitted Wed, 01/18/2012 - 3:31pm by Rob Z

February 8th marks the 3-year anniversary of the "incident" between Rihanna and Chris Brown, and rumor has it that the heated romance may not be over.

Us Weekly reports that Rihanna, 23, and Brown, 22, have secretly been hooking up for nearly a year.

A source at Us Weekly had this to say, "They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well."  "Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that," adds a Rihanna insider.

Brown currently has a girlfriend, aspiring model Karrueche Tran.

A rep for Chris Breezy stepped in, "He and Rihanna are just friends," "He's not cheating."

FAILing to go on Vacation.

Submitted Tue, 01/10/2012 - 6:34pm by Rob Z

A New York City school employee, Joan Barnett, 58, forged a daughter's death certificate to get extra vacation time in Costa Rica.

Joan submitted an altered death certificate to get approved leave time. She lost her job after the forgery came to light.

Someone who said she was Barnett's daughter called the school and said her sister in Costa Rica was very sick.

Later that day another supposed daughter of Barnett's called and said her sister had suffered a heart attack and died. She said relatives were gathering in Costa Rica.

Barnett then faxed the school a death certificate.

Jay-Z pens a letter to his new-born girl.

Submitted Tue, 01/10/2012 - 12:56pm by Rob Z

Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their first child into the world a couple of days ago, and Jay has already gone into the studio to record a song for her.

Her name is Blue Ivy Carter, and Jay-Z's new song, "Glory B.I.C." is a dedication and celebration to his new beginning.  It's a beautiful song that actually has Blue's first tiny baby sounds sprinkled throughout it and has a memorable line from the proud father, "Baby I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you,"

With this song I feel Rap and Hip-Hop have gone in a new direction.  Never has an artist made a song about his little girl within days of her being born, and never has a rapper made a song so passionate and sweet.

I think we are seeing a revolution of hip-hop in a very good way.

Listen below and decide for yourself.

The Richest Idiot in the World...wait...he's just an idiot.

Submitted Tue, 01/03/2012 - 4:46pm by Rob Z

Excuse me sir, do you have change for this...

In Lexington, North Carolina Michael Fuller, 53-years-old tried to use a fake $1 million bill at a Walmart to pay for $476 worth of merchandise.  He was buying a microwave, vacuum cleaner and a new brain. (I made up the new brain part)

The cashier was able to spot the fake because...IT WAS A ONE MILLION DOLLAR BILL!!!  Is this guy an idiot or what?!

There has not been a bill printed higher than $100 dollars since 1969 by the US Government.  The closest thing to that that the government has ever printed was a $100,000 dollar bill in 1934, and that only lasted one year.

The really surprising part is that Michael is not the only one to try to pass of a $1 million dollar bill on someone.

According to a New Study, People Conducting Studies are Idiots.

Submitted Wed, 12/28/2011 - 9:07am by Rob Z

Today I read a study was conducted...here is what the outcome was.

--According to a new study, people who quit smoking are happier and more satisfied with their health, compared to those who smoke.

Here are some other really obvious things that have been discovered because of idiots being payed to do idiotic studies.

--islands are surrounded by water

--If you can see the air, don’t breathe it

--eating too much fatty food makes you fat

--a Market Economy is a system in which people buy and sell things.

--french fries taste good with ketchup

--the hamburger is a popular American meal

These are REAL results from REAL studies that were performed by "professionals" who work for government and state organizations.

On a totally un-related know, here's a great FAIL for today.

Women RULE 2011!

Submitted Mon, 12/19/2011 - 4:59pm by Rob Z

2011 Hitmakers brought women to the forefront of music.

MTV released their Top Artists of the year and Katy Perry landed at #1 as the biggest music artist for 2011.

In fact, 6 of the Top 10 artists were solo female performers.

Katy, Rihanna, Adele, Gaga, Beyonce, and Nicki Minaj all made the list and they all were in the top 7.

Here's a breakdown from MTV's list:

10. Justin Bieber

Anything Bieber did this year made news.

When Rock Stars have too much time on their hands...

Submitted Wed, 12/14/2011 - 7:02pm by Rob Z

What happens after you have rocked all that you can rock?

When the fans have faded and the classic albums are done?

You start wearing 2 scarves at a time...wait that's not where I was going with this.

You start a pro-wrestling federation of course!

Billy Corgan, the lead singer of one of the best bands of the 90's, the Smashing Pumpkins, is dipping his hands in the wrestling world.

And if that doesn't satisfy your needs?

Well, hell, start writing music for broadway musicals.  Yep, that ought to do it.

It seems like Billy is struggling with a mid-career crisis.

He doesn't know what to do with himself.

His solo albums have failed to sell.  The Smashing Pumpkins comeback albums are subpar and lack record sales.  So Billy decides to go in an ENTIRELY different direction with his passions.

The Detoxification of Dr. Dre

Submitted Wed, 11/16/2011 - 6:52pm by Rob Z

Dr. Dre announced today that he plans on "taking a break from music".

Dre is one of the hardest working and successful music producers of all time.

Dre released his last solo album "2001" in 1999.  He then promised his 3rd solo album "Detox" around late 2000.

Now we all know that Dre doesn't need the money.  He's easily a multi-millionaire and recently sold 51% of his stock in Beats Electronics for $309 million.

He doesn't need the accolades.  He has made 2 classic albums on his own.

He produced Snoop's classic "Doggystyle".  He produced all of Eminem's albums.  He also brought 50 Cent to the forefront of rap music.

Here's a list of Dre's production credits - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Albums_produced_by_Dr._Dre

He has PROVED that he is a legend.

MW3 and the Man that Failed it.

Submitted Sun, 11/13/2011 - 12:02pm by Rob Z

A 31-year old man playing video games.  Sounds a little immature, don't you think? But, we are talking about MW3 here.

MW3 is Modern Warfare 3 - possibly the most popular game in the history of gaming. The Modern Warfare series brings in more money than most movies.

So, anyone can understand why it would make you want to KILL, right?

Oh, that's right...you're not insane.  Lomarin Sar is. And Lomarin was ready to kill.

Lomarin, a 31 YEAR OLD MAN, pre-ordered MW3 at his local Best Buy. When he went to pick the game up he was informed that Best Buy had sold out of the game.

Now, I have to admit that I would be pretty mad to if I pre-ordered something and come to find out that the store had sold out of it.  That is an issue that deserves a Best Buy gift card and a sincere apology. Lomarin could have made out on this deal.

Instead he threatened to murder employees and blow up the entire store.

Bone Thugs n' ... Phil? An ode to odd groups

Submitted Thu, 09/29/2011 - 3:51pm by Rob Z

My world involves a lot of music.  It makes me happy.  It is the center of my working environment.  So I should love it, right?

I should cherish every note and vocal that I hear, because music was put here to make us joyous and happy.

I could write lists upon lists of my favorite songs, albums, artists, collaborations, album covers, concerts...

But then again I could also write about how completely ridiculous it can be.  Let me give you an example.

In 2002 Bone, Thugs & Harmony released the album "Thug World Order" (Clever Title).

The album had a track called, "Home" that had a sample of the Phil Collins classic "Take Me Home" (Insert video from YouTube)

Now that song is a classic in my eyes.  One of Phil Collins best songs.  I am actually singing it right now.
I would assume that he would hold a great song like that near and dear to his heart
